There’s no place like home for the holidays

Oldest Sister got into town last night, her flight slipping in just before the worst of our winter storm hit.

I woke up in the middle of the night (as I generally do nowadays), realizing that all the beds were full. I remember having this feeling when they were babies – a sense of fullness, richness, abundant blessing simply because they were all here and they were mine. It’s all I ever needed or wanted.

imageToday the house is ringing with music as the two girls sing/play together. Life is much different now that they’re grown up, but when we’re together, it’s still all I need or want.

Love and joy come to you!
