I’ve always been fascinated by the alphabet. Over the years I’ve had numerous posters, artwork, and decorations depicting the abc’s. I suppose my love for reading, writing, and languages has something to do with that, as did my original career as an elementary teacher.
So it is with great excitement and anticipation that I now announce a long-term series of posts on Mom Goes On: The ABC’s of Parenting. Twenty-six posts on parenting thoughts, one for each letter of the alphabet. See how I did the math on that? Counting to 26 is just about the extent of my interest in numbers.
•Posts will be written when I feel like it, or whenever I have an idea – whichever comes first. Well, I suppose the idea really has to come first…
•ABC’s of Parenting posts may not be contiguous (is that the word I want?) The series can and will be interrupted whenever other topics capture my interest.
•Some posts may be more tongue-in-cheek or sarcastic than others.
•I reserve the right to get sick of the whole thing and give up at my own discretion.
•Readers have the right to get sick of the whole thing and read something else.
•Serving suggestion only.
•Posts sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may occur.
•Professional drive on a closed course. Do not attempt.
We’re coming up on the weekend, and I generally have time to write on the weekends. So the ABC’s of Parenting should begin in about 24 hours. Or not. It depends on how I feel at the time. We’ll see. 🙂

I’m sitting on the edge of my seat…..
Don’t fall off! 🙂
LOL, I love the alphabet too so I really like this idea (if you get around to doing it, that is…) 😉
Oh, I really will do it. I just wasn’t in the frame of mind to create pressure for myself! I’m becoming quite an expert in giving myself a break. 🙂
😀 That’s good! About giving yourself breaks…and doing the posts…you know what I mean!
haha! i love the suspense you leave us with…”will she or will she not?” 😉
Yes, in the words of Jim Moriarty, “I’m SOOOO changeable!” 🙂
