Having a lovely Saturday with my two darlings who are still home for now. Farmer’s market, big clearing out project in the garage, and all of us going out for dinner with my dad this evening.
But even on such pleasant weekend days I think we all feel the absence of the glue that holds their sibling unit together, their oldest sister who is far, far away in Baltimore.
Thankfully she left us a little reminder of her goofy sense of humor before she said goodbye a few weeks ago after her trip home.
Oldest has always disdained the false advertising on my vintage coffee tin. I don’t care to keep my coffee in it, so instead it’s a receptacle for the many varieties of tea we keep in the house. She marked her disapproval while she was here, and I refuse to remove her labels.
They make me smile every time I go into the kitchen.
🙂 I should remember to do more of that when I’m home with my parents. I know dear husband smiles in the morning when an unexpected toy finds its way into his shoe.
