It’s beginning to look (and smell and feel) a lot like Christmas.

It’s all Christmas, all the time around here. Shopping, baking, wrapping, making gifts, listening to carols – wringing every bit of joy out of the season.

First came the assembly line project of putting together ornaments for the toddlers and preschoolers who will come for story time at church tomorrow. Tacky, mass-produced, and unoriginal, but it works well for the story. The little ones will stick on the baby Jesus and the star, and have a little gift to take home with them.

Then there was turning lots of fun bits and pieces from this…

…into these little gifts to be given to a few friends:

I’ve been working on this collection of ear warmers and change purses for the last  ouple of months. Every female on our list will get one of each of these this year.

And in between craft projects yesterday, I put together a batch of peppermint frosted brownies  – they freeze well, so most of them are being saved for later.

All this cozy stuff at home is my favorite way to celebrate. Hoping you’re enjoying the season, as well!
