It’s been around 70 degrees in this part of the world for the last week and a half. Then we had rain on Tuesday, the first in several weeks (What’s that wet stuff coming out of the sky? Didn’t we used to have a name for that?)
So when I took a walk in the warm afternoon sunshine yesterday, this is what I saw:
To top it off, our robins have returned, and are already sitting on a nest just outside our kitchen window. All this, a full month earlier than usual.
Definitely time to change the blog header image.
Beautiful flowering bushes/trees! It could be my imagination but it seems Spring isn’t happening for us. Warm weather but not too many flowering anythings. However, it’s nice to not have the pollen hanging in the air too heavily.

Yeah, it’s actually kind of weird to have it be spring so early. We already have tons of allergy issues, and I just wasn’t quite prepared for all these beautiful blooms. Usually we have a wnole other month to wait and watch, wishing for spring!

oh yes, pollen. Our pollen was 1531 (not sure what is normal, but I do know this is extreme). My poor husband and oldest son suffer miserably.

It really is. I wish I could have gotten a shot of some of the fully bloomed daffodil beds along our street.
