Sucked completely dry yesterday after a (seriously awesome but exhausting) day with 15 5th-8th graders, I flopped onto the couch to mindlessly scroll through Facebook.
A meme I ran across perked me up pretty quickly:
It was, of course, accompanied the post-er’s comment, “Amen.” Holy cow, if only I’d known all along that in order to bless others and experience immediate prosperity, all I have to do is re-post an ignorant meme! I’ve been missing out on so much!

Amy, I discovered another thing about tape and mudding. After sanding, I took a well wrung out sponge and lightly went over the surface. It made is smooth for painting. Just thought I would pass along the tidbit of info.

Oooh, thanks for that! I knew we needed to gently wash down the walls after sanding to get the dust off, but I can see that it would also help even out the drywall compound. The kid is back on the job, trying to fit in two coats of mud today. And hating it. It will be SO good to move on to something else!
